The Crate Shop, housed in CFL's New York City warehouse, carefully selects materials to best suit your crating needs with special attention to quality and competitive pricing. Our innovative crating and packing design is always customized to your requirements to ensure each item's safety during periods of transport and storage. We use the latest technology in monitoring devices to ensure the security of your goods.
CFL can assist you in determining which method of packing or crating best suits your needs. We can provide you with packaging that meets museum specifications or archival packing standards, and in addition to crating, we also specialize in other economical packaging methods,such as soft-packing and palletizing. Our warehouses provide guaranteed security for all the fine objects we handle.
We operate in compliance with contemporary regulation of materials for both domestic and international shipping, using only heat-treated wood certified for import/export to all countries. Our crates also meet the IPPC's International Standards for Wood Packaging, or "Bug Stamp," standards for international shipping.
